Brewed with Simcoe Cryo, Columbus Cryo and Waimea (NZ), TDH with Waimea(NZ), Simcoe Cryo, NZH-101, and NZH-106. Notes of Dank Guava, Pineapple Orange Juice, and Pine Resin.
This beer is definitely new territory for us here at HOMES. We present to you a modern take on the classic west coast style double IPA. Loaded with a lot of New Zealand Hops, and the OG classic American hops, you’ll experience A LOT!!!! of hop character, with the smallest balanced bitterness and dry finish you’d expect for the style. The clean malt characteristics really lets the hops shine on this one. Also this is sneaky smooth at 8.7%, so it definitely packs a punch.
Fun Fact: NZH-101 and NZH-106 are experimental New Zealand hops. We have used NZH-101 before in Array. And NZH-106 in Overlap.
Fun Fact #2: Hard out is New Zealand slang for “right on” .

Sampled from the tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has melon and dank onion with a touch of pine supporting. Flavor has dank onion and citrus rind with light pine and a bit of melon backing.
