Bottle from Northumbrian Gifts. Pours a dark ruby red with small beige head. Aroma of dark malts, some chocolate. light roast, cherry. Taste is malty, bitter with a good level of cherries, light tartness, and dry roasty finish. Medium bodied, creamy, dry. Good.

On tap at Euston Tap London. Black beer dark brown edges lasting tan head. Roasty stout. Cold. Black cherry flavour is good. It's decent. I like the stout and fruit mix. Decent. Creamy and dry at the same time without being too milky.

25/4/2018. Bottle from CentrAle, Newcastle. Pours very dark brown with a good sized off-white to beige head. Aroma of chocolate, malt, moderate roasting, cherries and liquorice. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness, hint of sour. Medium body, slight oily and watery texture, average to soft carbonation. Sour cherry biscuity finish. Not bad.

Thick fluffy beige head stayed well on a still black body. Luscious cherry & dark chocolate aroma Thick bodied, almost chewy! Creamy, with slight cloying. Rich dark chocolate, cherries, oatmeal, dark fruit & a long, slightly tangy cherry back.

Tried at the crafty crow, Nottingham. Dark almost black colour with a thick cream coloured head. The aroma has cherries, but quite subtle in the taste.

Cask at GBBF 2015. Black with a high, airy head. Roasty nose, chocolate, coffee, and maybe just a hint of cherry. Soy sauce. A bit weak overall, without much cherry at all.
