Cask gravity @ GBBF 2015. Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty grapefruit hoppy aroma. Fruity malty grapefruit hoppy bitter flavor. Has a fruity malty grapefruit hoppy bitter finish.

Pours gold into a shaker. Grapefruit and resin aromas. Dark caramel and resin upfront. Lasting pith finish.

Bottle from Colonial Spirits Slightly hazy deep yellow with a bubbly white head that persists. Solid citrus and pine with a crackery bready maltiness underneath. Slight mineral water and astringency in the flavor, but a pretty good standard IPA right here.

[ As Captain Lawrence Hop Commander IPA ].Clear medium orange color with a small to average, open and frothy - fizzy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, moderate to heavy hoppy, orange - citrus, grapefruit, exotic fruit. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, exotic fruit, pale malt, fruity, citrus, dry. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20150813]

Very nice, clear amber and light copper coloured body with a bit of a bronze glow and a thick, three centimetre tall off-white head. Aroma of fresh grassy and lightly piney hops with a touch of resin along with a good deal of metallic notes and some light sugars as well. Light to Medium-bodied; Assertive grassy and lightly herbal hop flavours with some resin, bitterness, nuts and more metal noticeable. Aftertaste shows the hop bitterness throughout with a metallic twang and a very small flavour of light fruits on the finish. Overall, a bit too deep with the metal and pungent bitterness and not enough sweetness and aromatic hop flavours, but not a bad beer - just a touch strong. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased yesterday at Whole Foods in New York (Columbus Circle), New York for US$1,99 on 19-December-2015 sampled at home in New Paltz (Upstate), New York on 20-December-2015.

Cask at GBBF ’15, day 3, 13/08/15. Clear golden blonde with a moderate off white covering. Nose is tangerine, toasted malts, hops, straw, bitter orange. Taste comprises melon, orange pith, light pine, toasted bread. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close peppered with earthy hop bitterness. Ok IPA.

LSAT Freedom Trip #23. Keg at the brewery. Clear golden, thin fizzy white head, decent retention. Aroma of tropical hops, mild pine, pale malt and a hint of caramel. The taste is piney, resin, tropical hops, pale malt. Medium bodied, lingering bitterness, clean and drinkable.

GBBF Day 3. Cask. Clear gold beer, no head. Palate is light and semi dry. Modest fine carbonation. Light pale malts. Good orange and tangerine hops. Little grape and floral character and mild skunk. Light semi dry finish. Nice.

Cask gravity at gbbf 2015 day 3. Brown orange coloured pour with a fading loose off white head. Aroma is sweet light caramel, tangerine, alcohol. Flavour is composed of light caramel brown coloured pour with a pine and varnish, a little harsh palate is semi sweet, lowish carbonation. Bit rough round the edges.

From cask. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is grapefruity and citrusy. Crisp hoppy. Bitter, solid hoppy, pine and grapefruity. Crisp hoppy and bitter finish.
