On tap at the Mellow Mushroom in Asheville, NC. How can I pass up a beer with this name? It pours deep gold with a touch of haze and moon cratered light tan head. The aroma has a pleasing level of bitter grapefruit hops and hints of pine. The taste is up front bitter from grapefruit bitterness moving into pine and resiny bitterness to midway and then to the finish. There are moments of citrus hop and pine hop flavor murmuring to the surface along with brief moments of sweet maltiness off in the background.
