Bottle: Dark amber pour with a rich, creamy tan head. Nose is malty with a subtle spice. Picking up the ginger and orange peel per the description. Flavor has an increase in intensity, relative to the aroma. A little more maltiness along with a strong orange and ginger presence. Picking up a little cinnamon too, which I could do without. Still, this is flavorful and refreshing overall.

22oz bomber pours clear amber with tan head. The aroma has a good deal of rich nearly vibrant winter spiciness and then heading into roasted malts and some spicy anise like black licorice. The taste is similar where I get spicy anise infused Christmas cookie and black strap molasses. Well behind those notes are echoes of malts and faint dark fruity esters. This is a darn tasty winter type brew
