Poured up on tap at the Dunedin brewpub with deep opaque gold body and near bright white head. The aroma offers up the standard hefe players with cloves, wheat notes, banana and a bit of bubble gum. The taste is bold with spicy cloves, wheated malt notes and banana. Mixing with these notes is a pleasing yet wafer thin layer of lemon like acidity that is able to knife through the sweeter notes. Wow, full flavored, kind of on the sweet side, fresh hefe.
