Bottle. Hazy, pale gold. A few floaters. Bubbly, sticky, bright white head. Nice, freshly sliced, not quite ripe peach. Apricot. Peach stone. Has an almond edge to it, although thatโ€™s probably entirely down to the missus chopping toasted almonds up while I drink this. Taste is punchy bitter, with a grainy sweetness. Soft, light, easy palate. Finishes fairly bitter, with a light dry close.

Bottle (4.8% ABV) from Cork & Cask. Clear golden body with a thick off-white head. No visible carbonation. Excellent lacing. Aroma of sugar, white bread and custard. Flavour of pale malts, sweetcorn and a hint of vanilla ice-cream. Medium body with a creamy mouthfeel. Light carbonation prickle. Clean and subtle in all aspects, which I suppose is what a Cream Ale is meant to be.
