12oz bottle courtesy of jcwattsrugger. Pours clear copper with off white head. The aroma seems odd and fairly bold with cherry and esteriness as well as earthy, earthy spiciness and then spiciness. The odor seems to have taken on a Belgian yeast like character. The taste isn’t nearly as bold as the aroma and offers up lots and lots of spicy hops that seem to be mixing with dried cherry flavored molasses, thick earthiness and more bold spicy hops. Behind those notes a modest level of grapefruit citrus hops are noticed into the finish. Interesting brew.
