5th September 2015
Hazy orange - amber beer, decent cream colour head. Palate is light and minerally crisp. Thin malts bring modest sweetness. Fairly bitter orange and marmalade. Floral bitterness on the back end. Light finish brings a long strong bitter linger. Pretty bitter but decent.

Bottle from GBBF 2015 and drunk at home. Slight haze amber lasting ivory coloured head. Grapefruity hoppy aroma with a touch of caramel. It’s a pretty decent American IPA to be honest. Some pink grapefruit, some bitterness, not overly sweet, some bitterness, fresh tasty and I rather liked it.

Bottle consumed at Cropredy, Fairports Annual Reunion Festival 2015, Friday 14th courtesy of Craig. Light gold with white islands. Thrusting hops a sweet edge. Juicy hops a little tropical. Soft mouthfeel, pushy hops lovely, really lovely, tastes stronger than 6.2%. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov15 3.8

Bottle shared by PinkZambia Clear golden orange wit a small off white head. Bitter weird funky hop aroma and some light sweet maltiness. Decent hop flavor but just seems off. Just OK

On draught at the Hyatt in DC. The beer is a clear copper color with a medium white head that dissipates steadily to a film. Strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of hops, citrus and malt. Light to medium body with flavors of hops, citrus and grainy malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a short hoppy aftertaste. Decent overall.

Doesn’t quite reach the 8 points in aroma but comes together good nonetheless. Citrusy, with some sour malt. Pours amber with good head and lacing. Finishes with light sourness and bitterness. I like this. On tap at DC Summerfest.
