Bottle. Pours clear pale amber with a large white creamy head that slowly dissipates with nice lacing. Quite a pungent aroma, citrus, mango, hemp, cat piss. Dank is a good word. Flavor is about the same, more subdued than aroma. Not much sweetness, medium bitterness, a bit spicy perhaps - rye? Quite light bodied.

On draft at the Highlander pub in Danville VA. Pours a clear an er with an off white head. Feint aroma in a pint pour. More grass than citrus. Decent.

12oz bottle split with Anndiesel. Slightly hazy orange-tan body, steady creamy white head. A really solid IPA which remains sessionable, I’m really impressed. Grassy, straw dry hop character, some melon in there too, not one-dimensional. I’d be really happy to serve or drink this as a house IPA.

A golden IPA with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, classic pungent piney hops with smooth biscuit malt. In mouth, a nice crisp biscuit malt with good floral and pungent hops, nice and smooth. On tap at Time Out Wings, Herndon, VA, Oct. 12 2012.

Location: Draft at the Brewpub, 11/21/12
Aroma: This one has a floral hop nose with some pine and citrus notes as well
Appearance: It has a gold colored pour with a lasting white head and coating white lace
Flavor: Component-wise, the flavor is much like the nose, it is light sweet and medium-plus bitter
Palate: This one has a light-medium body, with a little dryness, and a crisp, clean finish
Overall Impression: Overall, this is a pretty classic, and fairly well-made example of an IPA. Quite solid and enjoyable. It is not a top-of-style IPA, but this is still a very solid one.

Bottled. A golden beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of hops, citrus hops, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of hops, malt, and citrus fruits, leading to a bitter finish. Thanks madsberg for sharing.

Nice slightly hazy copper coloured body with a nice thick, two centimetre tall off-white head. Aroma of pungent and grassy hops with a grapefruit and distinct resiny smell, tucked in with some nice malt and a good bit of discernible alcohol notes. Medium-bodied; Assertive piney and floral hop notes at first with a resiny finish all with a good malt backbone and a very grassy/floral finish. Aftertaste is a bit more well-rounded with the malt coming through a bit more, some alcohol notes as well and a little barnyardie funk as well. Overall, a very well done IPA - not perfect, but a very good beer and a nice offering from Virginia - very nice to have it here in the state. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Total Wine in Alexandria, Virginia on 23-May-2012 for US$9.99/6pack, sampled at home in Washington on 17-July-2012.
