Cask (handpump) @ GBBF 2015, Great British Beer Festival, London Olympia, Hammersmith Road, London, England W14 8UX. [ As Hogs Back Hopping Hog IPA ].Clear medium to dark orange amber color with a small, virtually no head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, dried fruit, riped fruit. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, sweet malt, sweet hops, berry - fruity, dark fruit - warm fruit. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20150812]

Bottle split at home thanks to James, 21/11/15. Rich chestnut brown with a decent beige covering. Nose is caramel malt, floral hop tones, orange peel. Taste comprises toffee, brown bread, perfume notes, orange. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying close. Low end for style.

Bottle from the source. Clear golden amber color, white head. Aroma of light lemon. Taste is light lemon. Subtle.

GBBF Day 2. Cask. Clear amber beer, no head. Palate is smooth with modest fine carbonation. Light tangy toffee in the malts. Tangy dried fruits, some zip. More light toffee in the light finish and also some mild peel. Not bad but not very IPA like.

From cask. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is toasted malty and light breadish to caramelish. Bitter,mtoadted and slight caramelish. Smooth sweet and caramelish finish.
