(Bottle, 0.33 l - batch 250 - BB 22.03.2023, from the brewery, 20210511) The beer poured black and oily. Its head was medium sized and lightly brown. Aroma had burnt malts, toasted coconut, cocoa powder, sweetness and vanilla. Palate was full bodied and warming with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, toasted coconut, vanilla, spiciness, cocoa powder and bitterness. Aftertaste had spiciness, burnt malts and bitterness. A beer with too many adjuncts for my taste. None of the adjuncts were used excessively, though.
