Tap at BeerGeek. Thin body, med-light carbo. Med-high bitterness, low sweetness. Quite dry, also has med-light yeasty sourness. Feels off, just too yeasty, kinda young, but also just kinda off. Little malt or hops character to offset it.meh, I dont like this one.

* Ok. Quite fruity, unusual. *
Light hazy amber color. Medium off-white head. Fruity, malty, light caramel, candy-like, medium sweet. Medium body. Light bitter finish.

Hazy dark amber/ brown colour, sweet caramel, bready, hoppy bitter finish. Very nice and unusual but delicious Festbier. Short-lived off-white head over clear copper beer. Dry autumn leaves, caramel, dry, brown bread. Bitterish, with a caramelly, bready I Hintergrund /I. Very good balance. Bit copperish-metallic finish. Leafy, bit of liquorice. Light to medium bodied, not very carbonated. I like this! And I like the idea that a rather newcomer (2008) takes up the traditional German styles. Txs to Joren for bringing!

0,5 l bottle, listed with 5.8% abv on the label. Dark golden nearly copper in the glass, slightly cloudy with a more than one finger white foamy head. Grainy smell, malt in the second row. Taste is grainy, low malt and caramel in the second row with fruity elements. Dry. Hop bitterness, little bit metallic. Low carbonated.

On tap at the brewery Gasthof, 20 July 2012. Hazy gold in appearance with a decent white head. Sweet, stone fruit aroma, with a touch of caramel. Flavour was similarly sweet and fruity, leading to a gently bitter finish. Good.
