Shaker pint draft at Waldo Pizza in Kansas City, Missouri. Pour is a mostly clear golden brown amber with a lightish tan head. Aroma is faint malt grain and nuttiness. Not much odor. Taste is nut, lightly charred roast malt, along with sweetness and light diacetyl. Not too much diacetyl for the style, though detracts a bit for me personally. Flavor picks up as it warms, integrating much better. Palate is thin bodied, lower carbonation, ashy dry mineral finish. Easy to drink, nice light flavor.

On tap @ Sunset Grill in Allston,MA. Pours a nice deep amber brown with a good lasting white head and super thick lacing. Very nice coating on the way down. Aroma is burnt toast with butter on it. Flavor is earthy, nutty, toast, and caramel malts, earthy in the end dries out nicely. The finish is a smooth butter mouthfeel. I really liked this brew.

Tap at Rattle n Hum. Pours cloudy brown with a medium, off-white head. Malty aroma with hints of roast and nuts. Flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, coffee and chocolate, and very lightly bitter. Light to medium in body with average carbonation. Finishes sweet with mild, lingering maltiness. Decent.

Aroma: The nose has a fresh hoppy front, as that fades, nuts and earth, toast, and chocolate take over
Appearance: The look is creamy/hazy brown, lasting creamy beige head
Flavor: The taste is malty, quite nutty, roasted malts, minimal bitterness
Palate: The palate is very smooth, with low carbonation
Overall Impression: My first beer rating from Nebraska! The dry hops are only really apparent in the initial nose, taste is solid and malty, with a nice palate. Good, not great
