Cask at the Sandford Park Alehouse, Cheltenham, 02/08/24. Clear golden to light copper with an off white cap that thins to a swirl. Nose is biscuit, caramel, straw, hedgerow. Taste comprises fruit slice, herb, caramel, biscuit. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. Decent bitter. A golden bitter ... NOT a golden / blonde. Try to use your palate sometimes instead of jumping straight to descriptive notes.

Cask (Beerhive, Cheltenham) - Golden in colour. Lemon, tea and some leafy and earthy notes in the aroma. Refreshing taste, fairly dry, with tea, citrus and some slightly herbal and earthy notes in the taste.

Cask-conditioned at the Pelican, Gloucester 24 April 2023. Golden in colour, with a moderately-sized, white, head. Leafy hops, white pepper, some stone and berry fruit character, rich, biscuity malts, leading to a moderately bitter finish. Good.
