From tap at Ølfestivalen Nærbø 16.10.15 with ABE and OGJ. Muddy pee colour. Almost no head. Strong aroma and taste of rhubarb and rhubarb jam. Some citrus bitterness. One-dimensional, but decently drinkable.

Bottle. Cloudy straw-yellow. Aroma: rhubarb, some strange, fruit and malt. Taste slightly sour, probably rhubarb, sour milk, soap, sweet, malty, very strange.

The most prominent with this one was that it tasted: Yeah right – Rhubarb! Tried some rhubarb ale before. And none tasted rhubarb. This one did. I really liked the beer also. Cloudy yellow color with a fine white head. Medium body and an ok carbonation. Rhubarb and citric. Pleasant acidity and a moderate sweetness. Nice one. Looking forward to try it from a bottle also.

Gulbrun noe tåkete med høyt offwhite skum. Lukter hvete, lett svovel, sitrus og noe hvit pepper. Smaker syrlig snerpende rabarbra. Lett sødme. Middels syrlig lengde. Mangler litt fylde. Men frisk kort avsluttning.

Bottle, batch 1452. Pours hazy light yellow, with a creamy head. Aroma is sweet fruity yeast and a tart wheaty sting with pepper, light spices and some citrusy notes. Creamy body, with soft carbonation. Flavour is tart with yeast and spicy fruity notes of rhubarb, gooseberries and some grainy notes of wheat. A fun, drinkable thirst quencher with an initial light tartness, that gets overpowered by a bit too much sweetness, and would probably benefit from a bit more carbonation and bitterness.

500 ml bottle. Slightly unclear pale golden to yellow body with a medium sized white head. Aroma is mild acidic with a clear scent of rhubarb and hint of spicy yeast. Flavor is clearly but not overwhelming rhubarb that still leaves room for the original blond ale. Some sweetness but definitively tart and some lemon like acidity. Medium to light body with a tart and mild acidic aftertaste. Have sampled a few beers with rhubarb, but think this is the only one that actually managed to catch the actual rhubarb flavor as it is. Nothing bold and extreme here, but simply a delicate fruit beer that deserves some attention on its own premises. Highly enjoyable.

Flaske fra Det gode brygg, Sandnes, hjemme: uklar korngul med flott hvitt skum som varer. Et gøyalt og annerledes sommerøl med tydelige toner av rabarbra, gjær (belgisk?), citron og krydder. Mye fruktsyre, slank og lettdrikkelig, men prisen forhindrer at den blir noe mer enn et engangskjøp. Fruktsødmen kommer mot slutten av glasset, når temperaturen harcsteget og karboneringen har gitt seg.
