Mathilda on aromikas ja antelias vehnäolut. Teimme modernin, raikkaan ja rehellisen vehnäoluen, joka on samalla kylämme nimikko-olut. Mathildedalin nimi oli alun perin Hummeldahl mutta ruukin perustaja Viktor Zebor Bremer antoi sille uuden nimen puolisonsa Ottiliana Mathildan mukaan. Etiketin kuvassa on omat kyläalpakkamme, joista yksi kaunis neitokainen kantaa myös nimeä Mathilda.

Tap@ SOPP 2015. Fruity, estery, banana aroma. Flavor has banana, wheat, mild spiciness. Decent, but thin.

Bottled (thanks Kim!). Hazy orange colour, mediumsized creamy white head, which quite quickly settles into a small firm head. Aroma is wheat, yeast, mild spices, toffee and some slight birch sap to it. Flavour is wheat, yeast, spices, toffee and some quite bitter notes as well. A bit thin as for the palate, but otherwise quite ok. The kind of tartness in the finish is actually quite nice.

A cloudy, slightly brown beer with a blond and medium head. The aroma has strong sourness of wheat, some cloves and spices, only hint of fruits. Taste is strongly sour with wheat, spices, hint of fruitesters. The end is slightly musty. Almost medium bodied, smooth carbonation. Sour wheat, more fruits would be needed.

Smell of banana. Amber colour, white tiny head. Aroma of banana, tropical fruit. Very sweet, wild carbon.

Aroma is fruity and yeasty with grapefruit and banana. Also gooseberry bush and funky saison aromas. Flavour has yeast, grapefruit, cereal and saisony tones. Rather malty for a wheat beer. Unusual but in a good way.
