33 cL bottle. Pours dark brown with a little hazzlenut brown hue, short lasting brown head. Mild aroma of malt and sugar. Carbonated mouthfeel. Mild breadish malt flavour, cane sugar - yet not overly sweet. Finish holds a undefineable orange fruity note. Classic hvidtøl, yet not as flavourful as others within the style.

Bottle. Creamy lightbrown excellent mostly lasting head. Dark red amber colour. Light malty and light hoppy neutral aroma. Moderate sweet flavor. Average sweet finish. Watery palate. Not as sweet as most danish Julehvidtøl. This is allright.

A deep red beer with a disappearing brown head. The aroma contains notes of berries and wood, while the flavor is sweet with primary notes of caramel, leading to a dry end. Where’s the licorice? I’m pretty sure the one I had was 2.6% ABV.

(Bottle 33 cl) Old version at 1,8% ABV. Dark brown with a tint of red. Small, collapsing slightly beige head. Lovely malty notes, sweet - but far from the sticky mess often found in this type of beer. Pronounced bitter finish. A positive surprise and a beer to be taken seriously. 271299 (Bottle 33 cl) New version at 0.6% ABV. 3/2/3/1/6=1.5
