Cask at the Wellington; clear light copper pour with a bubbly beige head, hint of smoke and fruit on the aroma, taste has some caramel, dark fruits, ok but not much of a porter.

On gravity at the Tewkesbury Beer festival, 4/02/2011. Reddish brown in colour with a slight, off-white head. Slightly roasty aroma, with some citrus fruit and hazelnuts. Sweetish cereal malts and nuts, with some berry fruit and dryish finish. Good.

Half pint at Charlies. Pours deep orange and golden with a little off-white head. Flavour is mild fruity hops, mild caramel malt base. Nice lingering hoppy and light fruity finish. Porter? Not in my book.

Cask at Charlie’s, Copenhagen
Dark mahogany color, creamy head. Simple aroma, maybe the flavor is a bit better, but still not too complex, just some caramel. Drinkable.

Cask at Charlie’s Bar in Copenhagen. A nutty brown beer with a thin brown head. The flavor is sweet with nutty notes as well as citrusy hoppy notes. The flavor is sweet with notes of nuts, caramel, fruit, fruity esters, as well as a light touch of diacethyl and cinnamon, leading to a dry slighlty bitter and citrusy finish. More like a good bodied brown ale, than a porter.
