Named after the ethereal song by the one and only Deftones, Phantom Bride IPA is a blend of Amarillo, Citra, Simcoe and Mosaic hops delicately balanced for the perfectly drinkable mix of citrus and hoppy goodness. A truly original Deftones/ Belching Beaver collaboration envisioned by Chino Moreno and skillfully crafted by Thomas Peters. Sit back, put on your headphones and drink away.

16 oz can. Aroma is dank, grapefruit peel, earthy, musty. Pours hazy golden with a collapsing off-white head that laces a bit. Taste is medium bitter with dank flavor notes. The dank musty earthiness (musty earthy dankness?) is pretty unique here. Not your run of the mill IPA, which I can appreciate, but it's also not the best IPA in the world, either. Interesting and not bad, though.

Can on the RBSG bus. Cloudy yellow golden color with a white head. Aroma is dank, citrus and tropical hops. Tastes of citrus and pine, tropical fruit hop flavors. A little bit malty to sooth the moderate bitterness.

Can fro Boise Co-op. Yes, another NE IPA. Ok, I get it. Flavor du jour.. Hazy, citrus, blah blah blah. Drinkable,...yes! Exciting...not really. Decent? Yes. But lost on the crowd of this overdone style. Kneejerks just gotta stop...

22 oz bottle poured. Being a huge fan of Deftones for many years, Iβm glad to know I didnβt miss out on this one. Golden orange pour, thick, with sediment, and a ton of foam head. Bold citrus peel like aroma. Flavor is no shortage of earthy like hops. Grassy, and citrusy both. Flavorful, thick and heavy mouthfeel to this IPA. Drinks nice overall. Spinning some old Deftones tunes tonight. Minerva for sure. Solid band. Solid beer. Iβll drink this again. Rerate month 2018! I've had this beer a dozen or so times since the first time. It has turned into one of my flavorites to keep in the fridge. Absolutely delicious brew, especially fresh out of the can. Love it.
