Named after the ethereal song by the one and only Deftones, Phantom Bride IPA is a blend of Amarillo, Citra, Simcoe and Mosaic hops delicately balanced for the perfectly drinkable mix of citrus and hoppy goodness. A truly original Deftones/ Belching Beaver collaboration envisioned by Chino Moreno and skillfully crafted by Thomas Peters. Sit back, put on your headphones and drink away.

Can (no genitals on this one - effort, lads). Hazy but not quite opaque orange with a dense fluffy white head. Aroma is of fruity bubblegum - peach and tropical fruit, some citrus. There's some light pleasant herbal notes there but also a whiff of potpourri. Sweet & just a little slurry-like with lots of fruit and a slight lean to dry at the moderately bitter finish. Didn't love the former, liked the latter. I liked the way it was sweet and fruity but still seemed savoury.

Hazy golden-orange color with a medium thick white head that dissipates gradually to an outer ring. Stings of lace. Citrus, piney hops and malt in the nose. Medium body with flavors of resiny hops, grapefruit and grainy malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a piney hop aftertaste. Decent overall.

The aroma is here are resiny fresh hops despite the natures of the listed hops as being citrusy in many cases. Flavors are somewhat similar to nose in that they are still very resiny but also have a lot of citrus qualities just enough malt sweetness to balance things out and make it very quaffable. Excellent body and finish. Great beer.

Pour is a cloudy yellow with a large white head. Aroma is a mix of floral and citrus hops. Some dankness is present. Flavor is more of a honeydew melon hop with quite a bit of bitterness on the back end. This was fine but not anything in particular really stood out to put this into the solid category.

Can at home from Grumpy Goat, 28th January 18. Pours a nice orange beer, hazy. Aroma is resinous, pine, citrus and aromatic. Taste is resinous, rich, pine, sweet and then bitter, it's pretty complex and the beer is slick and oily. Lovely IPA.
