Where we brew in North Wiltshire the story of Elmer – the flying monk – is well known. Gliding from the top of Malmesbury Abbey with a pair of self-made wings, his flight was a triumph (despite the two broken legs). Like Elmer, we encourage ambition and innovation. However, with light floral aromas and a subtle citrus zest, this beer provides a somewhat softer landing when it comes to hitting the palate.

Tap at Swan Inn, Farnborough. 07/10/16. Slightly malty aroma. Bright amber. Big washing up liquid head. Initially sweet, with a touch of bitterness. The sweetness than gains in strength. Fruit, hops and herbs. Light bodied, soft carbonation. Really enjoyed this.
