Sample at GABF 10/04/2014, thanks to my BIL for assistance with note-taking. Brownish-black color with a thin tan head that recedes quickly. Strings of lace. Chocolate and malt in the nose. Light-bodied with flavors of roasted malt, chocolate and mild coffee. The finish is roasty with a chocolate malt aftertaste. Above average overall.
