Draught @ [ SOPP 2015 ] @ Railway Square / Rautatientori, Helsinki, Finland . [ As Hopping Brewsters Boomerang ].Unclear matt medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, pale malt, moderate hoppy, citrus, plastic. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a long duration, citrus, fruity, plastic. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20150722]

Draught @ Ølhus København, Helsinki. Pours yellowish orange with a smooth head. Aroma of gluey hops, fruits, hints of malts, stuffy notes and off notes. Taste is stingy, earthy and stuffy with hints of glue, malts, ripe fruits and vegetables. Finish is stuffy, sweetish and earthy with hints of hops. Feels a bit off.

Draught@SOPP Helsinki 2015. Hazy orange colour, small white head. Aroma is floral, fruity, wooden and some mild toffee to it. Flavour is toasted, mild roasted notes as well as some wooden, floral and herbal notes. Balanced.

Keg at SOPP, Helsinki. Cloudy deep golden, mid sized head. Chlorine dominate the nose. Sweet with medium body and clean mouthfeel. Fruity with sheer chlorine flavour. Mid bitter finish. Awful.

Tap at SOPP 2015, Helsinki. Colour is cloudy orange with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Fruits, tropical fruits, some sweetness, caramel, hops and malts. Juicy sweet IPA. Too low carbonated.

Hazy, murky yellow color. Medium-sized white head. Banana, overriped fruits in the nose. Medium-bodied. Harsh, dry, woody, some bitterness in the flavor. Very dry. Not my cup of ale.

Tap@ SOPP 2015. Unclear golden, thin white head. Orange marmalade, mild spicy notes. Flavor has sweetness, marmalade, some spices I can’t recognize. Ok.

(Keg at SOPP Helsinki 2015) The beer poured yellow and cloudy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had herbalness and spiciness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, spiciness, herbalness, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy and bitter. A rather different but still tasty pale ale.
