A traditional summer light alebrewed using Chatsworth spring water and British pale ale malt. The characteristics of hawthorn, dry hay, and earthy flavoursand the aromas of the English Fuggles hops shine through, and at 3.6 ABV this is an easy drinking summer ale

On cask at Bulls Head, Belper Lane End - a dull looking ale, with a thin head, and minimal carbonation. Shottle Cock is a refreshing one, a bit hoppy in the nose and taste, but lacking in any substance.
