Nelson Sauvin and Idaho Gem hops permeate Proper Potion #2, which combines lemony citrus and pineapple cherry notes rounded out by candied fruit with a touch of cannabis and white wine.
Proper Potion Double IPAs are different than any IPA we've made before, bending toward enchanting. We've stirred up an entirely re-invented grain bill leaning on Pilsen malt with a healthy dose of oat malt joining the solution. With predominately New Zealand hops integrated into these hazy concoctions, the hop blends exude depth and complement a bold 8.7% ABV.

Reviewed from notes.
Can to tulip.
Appearance: burnt orange haziness with a two finger white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: white grapes, some grapefruit and mixed citrusy hop tones then a super subtle cherry hop sweet tone in the middle; light clean malts
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet to bitter and semi-stifled cherry tart sweet tinge; finishes mostly through the white grapes, grapefruit and mixed citrusy hops
Texture: medium bodied, leaning towards being a sipper; good smoothness with barely anything distracting, nice low carb and low hop bitterness assertiveness
Overall: a very nicely done NEDIPA worth coming back to.
