Keg at the Mikkeller London Brewpub, Exmouth Market, 05/09/23. Almost clear golden yellow with a white cap that escapes to the edge. Nose is mandarin, grass, light pine nip, sharp citric zest. Taste comprises grass, orange peel, light breads, toasted malts, sharp citric splash. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close rounded out with light danko hop bitterness. Wouldn't have guessed a wheat ale but good hoppy refreshement.

Mikkeller is king of trying to make the obvious seem like a deep quote. London energy is also followed by action, meditated or unmeditated...Anyway, the beer is ok. A little too hoppy for a basic wheat ale which means it'll rate high as a wheat ale once us tickers take it away. Hazy golden pour with decent head. Light bitter finish. Tangerine, unripe pineapple. Tap at London brewpub.

Tap at the Brewpub, with Angus, 8th August 23. Pours yellow and hazy. Aroma is dry hops, citrus. Taste is bright and dry, very hoppy, more of an ipa than a wheat ale, but a nice beer
