SOPP, Turku. A murky, golden beer, a head is medium and blond. Aroma has fruitness, some sourness and grain. Taste has grain, sourness, wood, some sweetness. Medium bodied. Balanced, good.

[ As Maku Maalais-Tamminen ].Unclear - hazy matt medium orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, wheat, moderate yeasty, orange, coriander, spicy, citrus, clove. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, spicy, clove, fruity - yeasty. Body is medium, texture is watery - creamy, carbonation is soft. [20150722]

Draught@SOPP Helsinki 2015. Hazy yellow colour with a small white head. Aroma is floral, fruity, quite strong on the wooden notes along with some slight sourness and earthy notes. Flavour is big bitterness, some floral and mildly tart wooden notes along with some malts as well. Nicely balanced.

Keg at SOPP, Helsinki. Cloudy pale golden, creamy head. Woody nose with some hay. Mid sweet with medium body and well rounded oily mouthfeel. Fruity and grassy with oak and sake. Mid bitter finish. Interesting stuff!

Pours murky orange with a foamy white head. Aroma of yeast, oak, berries and toffee. Taste is smooth, sweetish and oaky with loads of toffee, caramel, syrup and yeasty notes. Finish is sweet and stuffy with some oak, berries and toffee. Interesting.

Tap@ SOPP 2015. Golden color, thin white head. Pleasant mild spicy, citrusy, floral aroma. Very refreshing stuff. Flavor has lemongrass, grass, hops. Different, but really tasty.

(Keg at SOPP Helsinki 2015) The beer poured orange and cloudy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had vanilla, fruitiness and tartness. Palate was medium bodied and dry with medium carbonation. Flavours were vanilla, sourness, fruitiness, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was woody, tart and bitter. A bit unbalanced brew. Wood was overdone in this keg.
