Bottled (BB20031026...) at Post-PBF, Vaasa. Dark brown, small head. Cardboard, cardboard and toffee up front. Sweetish with light-medium body and rounded mouthfeel, low carbonation. Peppery caramel, cardboard and rye bread. Black pepper finish. Probably not much worse today than in 2003.

A brown beer with no head. The aroma is sweet with notes of caramel and malt, while the flavor is sweet with hints of smoke as well as stronger notes of caramel.

(Bottle 50 cl) Beautiful, clear light brown with a creamy, off-white head leaving laces. Soft, roasted, malty nose. Flavour of sweetish, roasted malt - almost no bitterness. A bit too heavy in carbonation. A very harmonious and pleasant drink. 030106

Bottle
Dark reddish-brown color with quite big light brown head. Typical sweet malty dunkel aroma. Sweet, some roasted malt and caramel, carbonation giving soft mouthfeel. Unfortunately very thin and watery. Slightly hoppy and bitter aftertaste.
