Cask-conditioned at the Seven Stars, Bristol February 2015. Golden in colour, with a decent, white, head. Sharply bitter pale ale, with some lime fruits, cereal malts and lingering, powerful finish. A bit harsh.

Cask at the Sussex Arms, Twickenham Green, 10/05/14. Clear golden with a moderate off white head that retains well. Nose is toasted bread, orange squash, pale malt, lemon rind, hint of tangerine. Taste comprises citric pith, mandarin, bitter orange, lemon jus, straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with light hop bitterness. Ok GB.

Wakefield Beer Festival. It’s not quite straw but light golden, no head. Has a floral hopped character.

Bottle from Tuckers Maltings. Hazy golden colour, creamy white head, lovely aroma of citrus fruit. Light and elegant yet with a good malty base, delicious grassy-citrusy hops throughout.
