Bottle 33 cl. Pours nutty brown with a slight haze and a creamy, lacing, off-white head. Malty nose with a faint metallic edge. Rich, malty body, sweet thick malts, nutty and slightly roasty wit a warming finish and just sufficient hops for balance. Not bad but quite rustic and far from the sophistication of the best German Doppelbocks. 251025

Flaska från SB. Kopparfärgad klar vätska med fluffigt skum. Stor och söt maltig doft med mörkt socker, bröd, fruktkaka. Harmonisk och utvecklad smakbild. Från mjöl, via söt karamellig malt och fruktkompott på söta äpplen och päron, tosca, nötter och en lätt lite pepprig beska. Värmande alkohol men lättdrucken och för stilen närmast elegant. Gylden brun klar med gulbrunt skum. Lukter maltekstrakt og lys karamell. Middels fylde. Maltig, lett bitter. Smaker maltekstrakt, mørk sirup og noe brent karamell. Middels lang.

Pours dark red brown with a medium sized head. Sweet and malty aroma of caramel, toffee and some brown sugar. Sweet taste of syrup, brown sugar and butterscotch. Pretty good, but perhaps a bit simple.

Sample (thanks omhper/fonefan!). Amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma is toffee, some dried fruits, mild nectar and a bit wooden tones to it. Flavour is wood, some fruity, mild nectary tones with some sweet malts as well. Low on the bitterness, but nice on the malty side in the finish. Simple and pleasant.
