Kitty’sin liitutaulu kertoo, että Plevnan Mosaic Vehnä olisi vahvuudeltaan 5.5%. No, eiköhän kyse ole kuitenkin tästä samasta Plevan Mosaic Weizenistä, olis vahvuus sitten tasan viisi tai hieman reilut. Läpinäkymättömän samean kullankeltainen olut vaahtoaa runsaalla valkoisella pitkäkestoisella vaahdolla. Kaunis olut. Tuoksu on raikkaan hapan ja vehnäinen, ei niinkään banaaninen. Maku jatkaa samoilla linjoilla ollen viljaisen vehnäinen, hieman hapan, runsashiilihappoinen ja ennen kaikkea varsin raikas ja melko kuiva kokonaisuus. Banaani pilkistää maussa, mutta ei nouse siinäkään liiemmälti esiin.

Draught @ [ SOPP 2015 ] @ Railway Square / Rautatientori, Helsinki, Finland. [ As Plevnan Mosaic Weizen ].Hazy matt medium orange color with a average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is light moderate malty, wheat, moderate yeasty, banana, yeast. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration, banana, clove, yeast, sweet yeast - malt. Body is medium, texture is oily - creamy, carbonation is soft. [20150723]

Draught@SOPP2015 Helsinki. Hazy yellow colour, small white head. Aroma is floral, fruity, some sweet malts and mild wheat to it as well. Flavour is sweet malts, wheat, some floral and nice toffeeish notes to it. Good Summerbrew.

Keg at SOPP, Helsinki. Cloudy golden, small head. An aroma filled with mango, pineapple as well as musty ammonium. Mid sweet with medium body and clean mouthfeel. Tropical fruits meets bread and banana. Fairly low bitterness.

Draught @ Gallows Bird. Aroma is a bit musty with yeast and fruity hops. Also some banana. Slightly fizzy palate. Flavour has yeasty notes, banana, some floury tones and tropical fruits. Finishes with slight milky notes and hints of cardboard. Also distant menthol tones in the aftertaste. Gets some bubblegum-like sweet fruitiness at the end of the glass. Nice, but does not reach the top.

(Keg at Pikkulintu, 20150411) The beer poured orange and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness, tangerine and clove. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, spiciness, clove, malts, sweetness and bitterness. Afteraste was hoppy and bitter. A tasty hoppy hefeweizen.

Tap@ Kitty’s. Hazy orange, thick white head. Wheat, spices, fruity hoppy aroma, some yeasty notes. Flavor has wheat, minerals, hops, banana, sweetness. A pleasant hoppy here weizen. Creamy, smooth, medium carbonation. Nice one to start with before going to HBF, day 2.

Tap at Pikkulintu, Helsinki. Colour is cloudy golden with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Fruits, banana, some citrus, toothpaste, mint, hops, wheat and malts. Mosaic is very obvious in this. Actually very good. Very juicy and tasty.
