Can on the 1348 Kings Cross - Hull Paragon, thanks to The Wingmane, 20/02/20. Light black with a well presented tan cap. Nose is light roast, pine dusting, charr, red berries, brown bread. Taste comprises liquorice, dusty hops, pine needle, light spice, charred tones, roasted bite, dried fruit esters. Medium bodied, fine carbonation spiked with leafy hop bitterness. Decent CDA.

Can shared on the train to Hull. Thanks to Wingman. A hazed nutty brown red coloured pour with a beige tan head. Aroma is dirty pine, sappy hop, plastic, liquorice, hockey puck. Flavour is composed of woody pine, sap. Resinous hop, plastic liquorice, nutty malts. Big and bold. Palate is semi sweet, plastic, dirty resinous hop, highish carbonation. Good bold black ipa.

Can at home from the Grumpy Goat, 28th December 19. Pours black with a big white head. Aroma is pine, herbal and citrus, taste is citrus, bitter cocoa, citrus peel in dark chocolate, slight sweet and then good assertive bitter finish and linger. Good BIPA
