Keg at BrewDog Waterloo, 20/12/23. Black with a khaki cap that escapes edgewards. Nose is light fruit tang, cherry skins, tobacco, light roast, earthy, cocoa sprinkle. Taste comprises dark malts, cocoa sprinkle, cherries, red berries, light charr, tangy fruit esters, hint of black peppery spice, light soured red berry compote. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Not bad ... not for the true pastry fan bois though ... quite a sharp edge as advertised.
