Smoked Porter with cacao nibs. The addition of a smoked malt bill gives this porter a deeper, slightly smoky flavour with the delicious dark chocolate and treacle sweet aroma you would expect, Followed by luscious, rich, chocolatey notes from the addition of cacao nibs.

Cask at the Waterloo Tap, 10/05/23. Mahogany brown with a good sized lasting beige head, good full glass lacing ensues. Nose is mellow smoke, oak, dried fruit rinds, toffee. Taste comprises mellow smoked malts, biscuit, grains, brown bread, biscuit, hedgerow. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying close. First Hawkshead beer I've had in a long time ... passable affair ... condition seemed okay just seemed rather lacklustre and thin.
