Tap at A Fábrica brewpub, Porto. Pours dark reddish cola brown with small creamy off-white head. Aroma is roasted malt, malt syrup, fudge, iron and hints of filter coffee. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter. Body is oily with soft carbonation. Finish is long and mostly sweet with notes of malt syrup, caramel, fudge, milk chocolate and filter coffee. Nothing fancy but well made.

Keg at the Fabrica tap, Porto, 26/10/22. Black with a tan cap. Nose is charr, roast malts, spice, toffee, dried fruit esters. Taste comprises chocolate biscuit, light spice, charr, mellow roast. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close. Okay stout.
