Keg at the brewpub, Porto, 26/10/22. Clear deep golden amber with a good sized off white head. Nose is caramel, candied fruit rinds, orange peel, sweet malts. Taste comprises caramel malts, blood orange, straw, toasted malts. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close splashed with modest hop bitterness. Passable old skool variant of a red IPA.

Draught @ the airport in Lisbon. Pours hazy copper brown with airy but stable off-white head. Clear aroma of malt and yeast, with mild hoppy touches. Bitter glavour of hops and grass, with citric notes and sweetish touches of malt and yeast. Hints of metal and caramel. Estery and acidic aftertaste with malty touches. Drinkable but not very well balanced or impressive.
