A 16 oz can purchased at Total Wine close to downtown Dallas a month or so back. I'm matching up the beer with my Cowtown tulip glass tonight and the pour shows a dark mahogany brown with a wispy, disappearing ring of tan foam. I do like the steady carbonation. Curiously the wine crowds out any other smell. And the taste, well, it is as advertised. Again there is a significant vinous effect along with wood, a bit of chocolate, a honey sweetness and malt. All this makes for an interesting combination. I have to say I enjoy it, something off the charts a ways from the standard imperial stout.

Panda at home, thanks to the Wingmane, 02/12/22. Black with a good sized tan cap that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is dark malts, chocolate, grape must, spice, dried red berries. Taste comprises earthy roast, chocolate, red grapes, cocoa sprinkle, light charr, dried red berries. Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced kiss of alcohol. Decent enough impy if a touch 1D with the red wine barrel ...comes in below the 10%.
