It's that time of year again!
Freshly picked hops straight from the bine and into the kettle allow ultimate hop oil extraction creating another layer of flavour to the deep dark and roasty body.
We added a generous helping of muscovado sugar to the boil to infuse a hint of rum with the subtle notes of dark red fruit from the Kent grown Bullion.

Keg at NorthDown taproom, 08/10/22. Light black with a khaki head. Nose is dark malts, cocoa sprinkle, herb, toffee, dried fruit esters. Taste comprises cocoa powder, chocolate biscuit, dusty hop presence, brown sugar melt, almost a level of dankness offered, dried fruit rinds. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light drying close. Tidy enough stout.
