Very dark brown colour, white head. Smell of apple, malt. Aroma of malt, grass, some hops. Quite typical brown ale. Half flat carbon, medium body.

A bottle. A brown beer, a head is quite small and beige. Aroma has breadyness, nuts, fruitness, some coffee. Taste has strong herbs, breadyness, some nuts and fruits, also bitterness. Medium bodied, quite low carbonation. Interesting and unique beer. Good.

Tap at Radbar, Turku. Dark amber color, small white head, lace. Rustic English hoppy aroma. Light-bodied to medium-bodied. Earthy hoppyness, slightly sweetish maltyness, English flavor too. Plus Radbrew house flavors from yeast(?).

Draught @ [ SOPP 2015 ] @ Railway Square / Rautatientori, Helsinki, Finland . [ As Radbrew I’ll Get Me Browncoat ].Clear medium to dark brown amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, dark malt, light to moderate nutty - earty, light roasted. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, dark malt, earthy malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20150722]

(Keg at One Pint Pub, 20150821) The beer poured mahogany coloured and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had sulphur, caramel and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, caramel, earth and bitterness. Aftertaste had malts and bitterness. A rather harsh brew for a brown ale. I was expecting maltier approach.

Draught@SOPP Helsinki 2015. Amber colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is floral, some wood and mild herbal notes. Flavour is fruits, some earth, a bit sourish edge to it along with some grassiness.

Tap@ SOPP 2015. Mahogany color, thin off white head. Bready, earthy, caramel aroma. Flavor has biscuity malt, salt, white bread, minerals. Unusual. Quite ok.
