Can pour from Beer and Wine Nation. Curiously, no mention of Inu Island Collab on can and ABV is 12%. ??? It's an opaque, inky black with nice viscosity, light sparkle, finger-plus width crackling brown foamy head with poor retention and no lacing. Aroma is balanced mix of roasted coffee, vanilla and coconut. First thing you get in the taste is a blast of strong sweet malt and vanilla with some alcohol astringency, followed by the roasted coffee, cocoa and mild coconut. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with thick texture, average carbonation, slight alcohol burn and finish as taste. Overall, the aroma is perfectly balanced while the taste takes you on a bit of a roller coaster ride. A tad over carbonated and alcohol presence detracts. Glad to sample the brewer.

Panda πΌ at home thanks to Dave. A jet black brown coloured pour with a decent mid tan head. Aroma is woody coffee, peppercorn, ccooa, spicy coffee bean, some warming alcohol. Flavour is composed of medium sweet, oily rich chocolate, cakey malts, mellow coffee bean, rich and thick. Palate is medium sweet, rounded, moderate carbonation. really nice.

Panda at home, thanks to Dave, 01/10/22. Pitch black with a tan cap that dissipates edgewards. Nose is sweet malts, mellow roast, coffee bean, chocolate pot, vanilla, brown sugar melt. Taste comprises coffee bean, light spice, cocoa powder, coconut shavings, toffee, brown sugars, light charr, roasted tone. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced spike of alcohol. Tidy enough pastry ... I wanted more coffee presence though.
