The garden of Wales from Penarth to the river Ogwr. Gently rolling, rich pasture, sandy beaches and a beer that's as sweet as clover.

Gravity cask at the Royston, Broadstairs, 05/02/22. Almost clear golden amber with a decent just off white head. Nose is light citric zest, bready notes, orange peel, light floral notes. Taste comprises orange marmalade, straw, toasted malts, light toffee apple. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close with a low level of bitterness. Decent enough pale.

Bottle from Stori. Appearance - golden orange with a nicely proportioned white head. Nose - lemon and a sweet breadiness. Taste - lemon going into orange. There's a cakiness. Palate - light bodied, creamy texture. The finish is only slightly bitter. Overall - expected more bitterness but liked this all the same. Nice malts.
