A classic easy drinking GTB Co Saison is back on the beer list, this time with the brand new release Saône.
This clean crisp saison, a style that originated in the French-speaking Wallonia region of Belgium is a dry, fruity, slightly spicy classic rendition brewed with Beaujolais wine yeast & Saison yeast. As it was historically brewed this beer has a low ABV of 3.5%.
We have released this Saison out of request of our customers, the last few Saison releases flew off the shelves and we expect no different with this.

Panda at home, thanks to the Fergus, 10/04/21. Clear golden blonde with a good sized white cap. Nose is lemon rind, grass, herb, hedgerow, toasted grains, faint lime. Taste comprises lemon tinged straw, grains, yeast esters, herb, farmhouse notes, apple core, hay bale. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light drying close. Pleasant enough saison.

Can at home picked up from Good things online. A mostly clear bright yellow straw coloured pour with a lasting loose white frothy. Aroma is nice fresh ceral grains, spicy hop, noble hop, hint of honey, light bubblegum, clove yeast profile. Flavour is composed of light grains, straw, spic hop, numbing, crisp, grain husks, mellow saison yeast . Palate is light and spritzy, highish frothy carbonation. Somewhere in the middle of a pils and a saison. Drinks well. Very crushable.
