Fermented in our French Oak Foeder with our house mixed culture and then keg conditioned to develop carbonation naturally. Aged hops, pilsner malt, unmalted wheat, and lots of time make for a beer that is both bitter and acidic, with lots of stone fruit funk and a bit of herbacous potpourri-like character.

Keg at Northern Monk Refectory, Manchester, 21/02/20. Hazed golden orange with a decent off white cap. Nose is apple skin, sharp fruit esters, grass, hay bale, grape must, funk. Taste comprises stoned fruits, wood must, dry rot, lemon rind, barnyard twang, tarte green berries. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a rising acidic kiss. Decent.

Bottle from the brewery, gifted by Ari. Thanks! Golden pour, bright appearance. Barely less than an intense sour punch aroma. Inviting for the sour beer lover. Nice sour orange fruit taste, blended well with the oak touch. Cool linger. Stone fruit. Overall, am excellent, well made sour here.
