Keg at the Brewpub, An opaque black brown coloured pour with a a fine light tan head. Aroma is earthy smoked roast, mineral, soggy campfire. Some spice. Flavour is composed of, brown sugars, roast, little apple, earthy smoke, some bacon. Palate is semi sweet, frothy airy carbonation,

Keg at Beer Hawk Southbank, 16/12/19. Black with a well presented tan covering. Nose is dark fruits, light bonfire, ashen tones, leather, charr, burnt brown sugar. Taste comprises smoked malts, toffee, charr, scorched earth, dried fruits, brown sugar dusting, cocoa powder. Medium bodied, fine to slightly prickly carbonation, semi drying close. Decent smoked stout ... good balance ... subtle but noticeable.
