Growler from the brewery. A clear reddy amber coloured pour with a reluctant beige head. Aroma is rich nutty malt, toffee notes, figgy fruits, raisin, hint of vanilla. Flavour is composed of layered malts, toffee, some twig, , light cake, faint leafy piney hops. Palate is semi sweet, lowish gently condition. Decent malty affair.

Cask at the Squirrel, Penn Street, 27/10/19. Rich chestnut brown with a decent light beige cap. Nose is airy malts, light orange peel, toffee, biscuit, dusty hops. Taste comprises straw, biscuit malt, citric rind, candied orange peel, toasted brown sugar. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close tickled with leafy hop bitterness. Decent cask sessioner.
