Our standard Oud Bruin that was boiled for 16 hours instead of 1,5h. This turns the beer into a more full version of the famous Oud Bruin and gives it more of a caramal touch.

330 m bottle. Pours a hazy dark brown with huge head. Aromas of dark sour berries, balsamic vinegar and chewy dark malts. Flavors of sour strawberries, cherry skins, red wine vinegar, dark caramel, and bready malts. Nice

Cloudy brown colour with thin head. Aroma and flavour have plenty of woody dryness next to the sweet and sour vinegar.

On tap @Luppolo Station (Rome).

Mycket gott.

Draft tasting glass @ Foeders. Quite dark brown, big creamy tanned head. Looked super hard to pour from the tap, almost exploded all over the place when the waitress tried to tap it. Nose is mellow acidic, wood, mellow vinegar, acidic,… Basic acidic, less acidic than I remember the base beer being or most of their beers, lemon, wood, tobacco, nicely mellow, low oxidation, interesting, more mellow than the usual one, still rather sour but less intense, tannins, oak. Different from what I expected, more restrained, low oxidation, tasty.

Tap at Foeders, Amsterdam, 16th January 19. Pours a deep chestnut brown, some nice head. Aroma is tart and sweetness. Taste is tart, fruit, some soft sweetness, funk, complex, musty. Lingering moreish finish, another great one from the masters of this style.
