Colanmusta olut ei vaahtoa juuri lainkaan. Tuoksu todella on sekä savuinen että samalla makean hunajainen. Impaled Nazarenelle dedikoitu olut, joten pakkohan se oli bändiä laittaa samalla soimaan. Maku ei ole ehkä ihan yhtä vahva kuin tuoksu. Siitä löytyy leipäistä tummempaa maltaisuutta ja paahteisuutta, savua vain hyvin vienosti. Mielenkiintoisen tuoksun vahvasti palvikinkkuinen savuisuus ja hunaja loistavat kuitenkin melko lailla poissaolollaan maussa. Savuisuutta havaittavissa vain lievästi jälkipuolella, hunajaa ei juuri lainkaan. Melko kevyt ja vähähiilihappoinen suutuntuma. Kokonaisuudessaan, bändin musiikkia taustalla samalla kuunnellen, olisi tälle kaivannut myös maun puolelta jotain twistiä. Nyt se jäi tuoksuun.

0,33l bottle at home from trade with Kavu, big thanks. BB 01/2016. dark brown color, small tan head. smells of smoke, spices, rather strong of smoked blackforest ham, creamy, light roast notes. decent smell. light to medium body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes of smoke, malty roast, spices, black forest ham again, a bit citric, some coffee after it warms up a bit. finishes with light bitterness and smoke notes. decent beer, liked the taste a bit better than the smell, finishes is a bit harsh from the bitterness though, overall drinkable, a whole bottle might be too much though.

Smell of smoke, honey. Black colour, minimal white head. Aroma of smoked malt, honey, some tar and oak. Half watery, could benefit from more ABV. Mildly bitter, soft but rich carbon.

Bottled@Pub Winston Fest 2015, Pori. Black colour, small white head. Aroma is honey, roasted malts, nicely smoked wet wooden notes as well as some toffee. Flavour is roasted malts, toffee, some mild honey as well as a mellow take on the smoked wet wooden notes.

Draught @ [ SOPP 2015 ] @ Railway Square / Rautatientori, Helsinki, Finland. [ As Vakka-Suomen Year of the Goat ].Clear dark red brown color with a average, frothy - cream, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, smoke, wool, plastic - burnt plastic notes. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, smoke, dark malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20150723]

Bottle at Winston Fest. Dark brown color, vanishing head. Smokeyness in the nose, some honey. Light-bodied. Light sweetness, toasted malts. Honey. Smoke is less dominant in the flavor than in the aroma. Easy. A bit lagerish.

Bottle. A colablack beer, a head is small and beige. Aroma has mild but clear smokyness with ham and tar, honey and some sweetness. Good aroma with succesfully and unique honey. Taste has bready maltyness, roastiness and only hint of smoke with honey. Unfortunately, the taste is so mild. Light bodied, low carbonation. Aroma is great but too light palate and taste aren’t the same level. Mild smoked beer.

Keg at SOPP, Helsinki. Cloudy dark brown, small head. Light peaty smoke and caramel up front. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Bread and honey, a whiff of smoke. Metallic finish. Unpolished.

Bottle 0.33l at SOPP 2015, Helsinki. Colour is black with very small head. Aromas and flavours: Some smoke, sweetness, honey and roasted malts. Simple but drinkable.
