Bottle 50 cl. Pours black with a vague orange hue. Head is beige but dissipates immediately. Aroma is oxidized plums and a subtle woody note. Medium body, low in carbonation, dark dried fruits rather than roasty malts, again an oxidized woody note, but not so much Bourbon really. Some alcohol heat in the finish. A lovely jammy and plummy strong Porter - and probably the best beer out of Braunstein for ages, if not ever. 070114
