Designed to celebrate everything we love about Paul Smith’s College, this Pilsner is a pale lager with a crisp refreshing taste that is lightly hopped. We brewed Smitty Pils using locally sourced ingredients that Paul Smith himself would approve of!

Pours clear yellow with a finger of white foamy head, settling to a ring that leaves light lace
Aroma is very clean, light honey and biscuit malts, slight grassy lemony citrus notes.
Taste is straw, honey, crackery malts with a bit of floral, and grassy hop notes. A slight metallic twang with a fair amount of bitterness.
Light bodied with a moderate prickly carbonation leads into a medium finish with a good amount of bitterness
Overall it's an easy drinking lager and I appreciate the hop flavor and bitterness but if probably reach for something else next time. Kind of missing that snappy crisp finish to really get into pilsener ground.
